Points Explained

NNGA Divisions

The Regular Series of NNGA events has two divisions: Scratch and Net.

USGA Events, players that earn points in USGA events (see chart) will have the points awarded in their appropriate division. See below,
Regular Points
US Open, US Amateur, US Public Links, US Mid-Amateur, US Junior Amateur
Senior Points
US Senior Open, US Senior Amateur
All USGA points will be awarded at the completion of the tournament proper.

Pacific Coast Amateur, points will be awarded at the completion of the tournament proper.

The Senior Series of NNGA events has three divisions: Blue Senior Scratch, Blue Senior Net (ages 50-59) and Silver Senior Scratch and Net (ages 60+) The Silver division pays one scratch per event the rest is paid net.

The Senior Blue division players have to choose scratch or net division for each event. This is where their points accrue. The division you select will be the only division in which you will receive and accrue points. NOTE: Players are able to change their division at anytime and start collecting points in their newly selected division at that date.

Silver Senior Scratch and Net (Over 60) Players eligible for the Silver Senior division have the choice to participate in the Blue or Silver division.  NNGA now pays one (1) Scratch winner in the Silver division at this time. Scratch points are  awarded to the top 5 scratch silver players per event. (see below)  Silver scratch winner will also be awarded for their net finish.
